Mrs. Andersen brings 18 years experience in the design and construction industry.  Her background includes many facets of the industry bringing a well-rounded approach to her design and consulting projects, with the last 10 years specializing in accessibility consulting.  

​

Elaine's experience includes all types of accessibility consulting, complete interior design work, construction management, and architectural design services.  As a Registered Accessibility Specialist, Elaine has served as the accessibility consultant on hundreds of projects. Her detail oriented background brings an important perspective to identifying accessibility compliance issues and to assisting designers in finding practical solutions.

Elaine's experience is vast and brings a wealth of knowledge:

Served as the RAS on over 500 Texas Projects

Worked on projects in 8 states, from Coast to Coast

Project Manager on 6 ADA Transition Plans

Consulted on over 40 multifamily accessibility projects

Presented on accessibility to Cities/Designers over 30 times

 

​Mrs. Andersen was a US Navy Reservist from 2003 through 2011 and served in the Middle East.

​

Elaine’s free time is spent chasing her two daughters around, playing volleyball, and serving her community. These days, she's also an impromptu teacher during the Pandemic!
